Roger E. Gordon, Ph.D. President and Chief Executive Officer
Roger Gordon is Banner's President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Gordon joined Banner in August, 1999 as Global Vice President of Research & Development, and has also served as Vice President of Pharmaceutical Sales/Marketing and R&D. It was during that period that Dr. Gordon, working with his colleagues, conceptualized and began to aggressively pursue a Product Leadership strategy for Banner in the US. Subsequently, he was promoted to President of the US division, overseeing all aspects of the business during which the Product Leadership Strategy began to bear fruit. In 2004 Dr. Gordon was promoted to President and CEO of the company.
Dr. Gordon began his career with The Upjohn Company in 1981 as a research scientist, developing new products and drug delivery technologies. He progressed through the management ranks, and upon the merger of Upjohn and Pharmacia, he completed a two year overseas assignment in Stockholm, Sweden, where he headed up the Pharmaceutical Product Development organization and implemented global best practices such as technology transfer.
Dr. Gordon holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University.

Timothy B. Doran Global VP, Commercial Operations
Tim Doran is Global Vice President, Commercial Operations, responsible for worldwide sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. He oversees global expansion, as well as the planning and promotion of new drug delivery technologies and growing the portfolio of proprietary products. Mr. Doran has also served as Banner's Vice President of Global Business Development, and has headed up Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing for North America. He began his career with Banner in 1999 as a director responsible for strategic planning and business analysis.
Mr. Doran has international experience in the areas of strategic planning, supply chain management, mergers and acquisitions. He has multinational corporate management experience. Tim started his corporate career with Kobelco Corporation, and worked for them on an overseas assignment in Japan for four years.
Mr. Doran holds a BS degree in Business Administration and Communications from Lynchburg College in Virginia, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University.

Damien Reynolds Chief Financial Officer
Damien Reynolds is Banner's Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for Finance and Information Technology. He has been an executive officer since joining Banner in 1992 as Senior Vice President of Global Finance, and has been the company's CFO since July 2011.
His experience provides him with extensive knowledge in financial activities relating to the international pharmaceutical industry, as well as in the manufacturing and supply chain aspects. He has been responsible for financial reporting, financing, mergers and acquisitions, international tax, strategic planning, and ERP systems implementation. Mr. Reynolds has also held operational positions at Banner, including the role of regional business leader for the US division from 2007–2011.
Prior to his career with Banner, Mr. Reynolds was a senior manager at the public accounting firm BDO Seidman, specializing in audit and tax work for multinational manufacturing companies.
Mr. Reynolds holds a BS degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University; he passed the certified public accounting exam in 1984.

Aqeel A. Fatmi, Ph.D. Global VP, Research & Development and Operations
Aqeel Fatmi is Global VP, Research & Development and Operations, managing the development, registration, tech transfer and launch of new and existing proprietary and customer products, as well as oversight of all of the company's production operations. Dr. Fatmi joined in August, 2000, as Vice President of Product Development in the United States. He now directs manufacturing activities, pharmaceutical and analytical development, clinical supplies, regulatory affairs, technical services, validation, procurement and engineering activities for global operations. His strategic focus is to help transform Banner into a specialty pharmaceutical company, using softgel as a delivery vehicle for controlled release, enteric, and enhanced absorption of poorly soluble drugs.
Dr. Fatmi was a founder of the Georgia Combinatorial Chemistry Center at Georgia State University in Atlanta with a focus to discover small molecule drugs for cancer, HIV, and other infectious diseases. He spent a major part of his career at Solvay Pharmaceuticals, where he served as Senior Vice President of Research & Development, being responsible for the development, approval, and launch of new drugs.
Dr. Fatmi holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Georgia, Athens. After graduation Dr. Fatmi was a National Science Foundation Post Doctoral Fellow for one year at The University of Georgia.

Robert S. Castellucci Global VP, Quality Systems and Compliance
Robert Castellucci is Global VP, Quality Systems and Compliance, responsible for managing Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance worldwide. In this role he is responsible for establishing quality management systems that result in sustained compliance with global drug regulatory agency requirements and serve as a platform for achieving "best in class" quality.
Mr. Castellucci joined Banner in March 2007, with 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining, he held executive management roles in several pharmaceutical companies including Merck, Marion Merrell Dow, DuPont-Merck, Watson and MDS. He has extensive experience in the development and implementation of pharmaceutical quality management systems, manufacturing technology and process controls, organizational integration and design, and the implementation of predictive management processes.
Mr. Castellucci holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Biology from Villanova University.

Charles L. Cain Global VP, Legal Affairs and Human Resources
Charles L. Cain joined Banner in 2000 as General Counsel; he is currently Global VP, Legal Affairs and Human Resources. In this role, he manages all legal affairs for the company and is responsible for government relations, public affairs and all human resource-related activities.
Prior to joining Banner, Mr. Cain was a Partner with the law firm of Wyatt Early Harris & Wheeler, L.L.P., High Point, North Carolina, where he advised companies on financings, acquisitions and general corporate matters. Mr. Cain was previously a partner with an Atlanta firm where he practiced securities and corporate law.
Mr. Cain received a JD/MBA degree from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where he was a member of the North Carolina Law Review. He received a B.A. in Economics, Cum Laude, from Wake Forest University. Mr. Cain is a Board member of the High Point Chamber of Commerce, the High Point Economic Development Corporation and the United Way of Greater High Point.
